Missy's Miniatures as a business, consists of Lee, Deb and our daughter Missy. It seems as through there have always been horses of one kind or another in our lives. Even though we started with quarter horses, we have been involved with miniature horses and Shetland ponies for the last nine years. We have done almost everything possible with our minis. Each one has a special talent or purpose, whether it be visiting nursing homes and pre-schools or competing in the show ring.
We have been very active in our state miniature horse club and have held many of the offices and served on numerous committees. Deb has also been involved with the national registry by serving on the National Youth Committee, the Rule Book Committee, the Royalty Committee, the Scholarship Committee, and was the chairperson for the National Youth Hi-Point Award Program. Melissa served as the AMHR National Princess in 2000. Lee was a licensed steward for the ASPC. We hope that by sharing our time and efforts with these organizations, we can spread the word about how wonderful these little equine are.
